Europe’s leading reprocessor of sealed CO2 lasers has expanded its base in Llandarcy, Wales due to an increased demand for its highly advanced CO2 laser reprocessing and its CO2 and Fibre laser machinery building capabilities.
With increased demand for these coming from around the world, Millennium has taken the opportunity to expand the facility to provide a faster turnaround time and increase its throughput of laser cutting and engraving machines and laser tube regas and recharging.
Reprocessing CO2 lasers can be “a complicated and tricky procedure to get right and many people think it is just like re-charging the air-con in a car, but that could not be further from the truth” says Dr. Paul Mason, Managing Director of Millennium Lasers. The process requires complex processing equipment, a multitude of laser gases, gauges, analytical equipment and a great deal of operator skill, knowledge and sometimes even more patience.
This is how our reprocess often performs better and boosts laser life for longer than the original OEM supplier.
